MOVING IMAGE

During the second trimester, in Moving Image, we started with learning things about cameras, shots, how some movies are filmed, the roles in a movie, etc. Then, each person wrote a story of about one page, which we would then use to make a proffessional script on this and then, as a group, we would choose our favorite one and this would be the one we would actually film, with each of the roles he had learned previously. We chose Medina's script. I was chosen as the art director, so it was my job to choose the places we filmed, the clothes each person wore (and make sure that, if necessary, that they would wear it in all the scenes, and not for the actor to have in one scene some shoes and in the next one different shoes), and lastly, the lighting of each scene. It turned out to be an important role, because of the clothes everyone wore, and also, because I had to make sure that the places we filmed were accurate to what a real place looks like. This could be for example making the infirmary look like a real hospital. For this, I changed the lighting, took some frames off, made everyone get out of the infirmary so that they wouldn't interrupt, etc.
